In 2008-2009 we hope to
• recruit more members with various backgrounds
• improve our connection to IPPF
• cooperate with other organisations with in IPPF (such as NSRR) and learn from the experience of other organisations
• improve the services provided by FKB, information (website), be more visible
• cooperate with government to get more funding
Our strength
• Iceland is a small country, communication should therefore be easier
• The issues the association is promoting concern all of the population
• FKB has a new board and staff, board members have different backgrounds and therefore provide various strengths to the association
Our weakness
• Finances
• Few members
• Lack of male involvement
• No offices
• Visibility

In the situation analysis made in 2007 by the board of FKB the board members noticed some gaps in the SRHR services in Iceland. The priorities for the next five years will be working towards promoting ways to fill those gaps. The most vulnerable group being young people the promotion of youth friendly services will have high priority.
The association will also work towards eliminating its weaknesses by being more visible through the media and website.
